Events of the day

Soft slab pocket avy on buried surface hoar about 20-30 cm down. Surface hoar was wind blown away on ridge and probably on Ramp but stayed in a protected spine area.
Skier triggered and then was able to ski left towards spine before self arresting.

This was our second line of the day and last skier in the group. The first line skied great with no obvious signs of instabilities.
