D1 wind slab on E face of Skyscapper ridge, above Eldo bowl. Looks to be a day or two old

Weather

Moderate winds, tapered throughout the day. Temps in the low teens, clear and sunny

Snow surface

Recycled powder, still mostly soft with areas that had a thin wind skin

Snowpack

Dug one pit at the sled hill. 80cm total depth. 2inches of soft snow with chained depth hoar under that to the ground
