Route & General Observations

We started from the summit lake parking lot around 10:30. We went up the road and then followed up the preexisting skin track until the skin track went to the exposed SW side of the mountain. We decided to head NW face around 2,500ft. We dug pits around 13:35. Then skied from the summit down back to the parking lot returned to cars around 15:35pm.

No new snow. Observed SH below treeline. Feathers 2-8mm.

Snowpack

HS range 80-90cm.

No observation of BSH Solstice layer.
We had a layer of concern around 60cm.
