Traveled up the main skin track. Many other people out this morning, at one point I counted 16 skiers above us. Did multiple loops skiing down the south side of Tenderfoot ridge.

Looking at the ridge north of Tenderfoot, there was cornice fall debris sitting in bowls below them, hard to tell how old it was. Intermittent wind was moving snow around and snow was pretty thin along the North side of Tenderfoot ridge. We were able to get shooting cracks with some effort in one local wind loaded area but not in other places.
Overcast in the morning, turned partly cloudy, and we got hit with sunshine at about 3:30pm. Temperature was about 25F and cooled off a bit when the skies cleared up later. N wind above 2500' seemed fairly steady.
Nice powder in the lower elevations. In higher elevations northern aspects had thin snow as well as visible rocks and alpine vegetation.
Our snow pit showed a weak layer about 45cm down, no propagation. We were able to force a very small windslab to slide by jumping on it, this is where we witnessed the shooting cracks.
