Hand pit at 1600' found buried surface hoar down a foot (see photo).

Dug 2 pits @ 2000', HS:100, Found a layer of buried stellars down 50 cm in one of the pits and an obvious layer of buried surface hoar down 70 cm and then small facets at the ground in both. HS: 100 cm. Pit #1 CT 16, CT 17 SC on buried stellars, ECTP 13 on buried surface hoar. Pit #2 CT 14, CT 12 on buried surface hoar, ECTP 16 on buried surface hoar, very thin layer of basal facets not reactive

Dug 2 pits @ 2450', both HS:110 with similar structure, buried stellars down 50 cm CT 17, buried surface hoar layers down 60 cm and 80 cm (no results on either layer in either pit,) 90 cm down a 5-10 cm melt freeze crust over basal facets. CT 14, CT 12, ECT 13, ECTP 20 in basal facets. Facets were small 2-3mm. There was also a thin layer of facets above the melt-freeze crust but tests were not reactive on this layer.
