Avalanche: Summit

Avi was human triggered on the skin track up.  It happened about 100 feet above me where I was ripping skins off.  I could not see the entire slide from where I was, and I did not head up further to investigate.  I only could see the southern edge of the slide from where I was located as it went.  I saw the edge of the slide first hand, but I am getting the information about the actual trigger second hand after they skied down to me.  There was three people in the skin track close together went it went.  One of them did get pushed down ( I am assuming he was lower) about 30 feet from what they told me.  They said he got slid and then it branched off and he stopped into a tree well.  We were all heading up together right before it happened.  I stopped and they went just out of sight above a small knob.  Thats when I notices the edge of the slide passing me (about 30 yards).  10 minutes later they came down to fill me in.

The slide happened on the northern slope of  tenderfoot right as the ridge narrows above the trees.  Skinning skier in the lead reported a whomp right before the snow let go below and behind him.
