Route & General Observations

Went to try dye tests in 2 locations. Several new glide avalanches observed. Numerous WL, some stripping snow to ground. A few Wet Slabs on S & East aspects. Only Westerly WS observed was on Moose mtn approx. 1100′ elev.
44*F @ road. Calm skinned SW-W facing slope. 1″ wet snow above 1.5″ semi-supportable crust & iso to the ground. 1800′ skif over 2-2.25″ supportable crust w moist snow below & some horizons of wet snow. Could easily push pole to ground at these elevations. By 2800′ very firm, dry and cold surface on ridge.

numerous WL on E - NW aspects @ 4000'+ to 1100' elev. from Turnagain Pass - Summit - Tern lake.
a few WS on East - South w/ one West facing on Moose Mtn @ approx. 1100'
Looked like several new glide Ax releases. getting hard to catalogue

Seems like there have been more and perhaps longer re-freezes in Summit than TP & along eastern T. Arm

Sunny calm. Beautiful 44* @ 1pm@ road, 51* @ 5:30pm. 33*F in shade @ 3700' 3pm

Snow surface

wet, barely supportable down low improved with elevation becoming firm above 2700' on W - North aspects. dusting of new dry snow above 3000'. could generate some roller balls and one small "push-a-lanche lower on descent
