Route & General Observations

From tenderfoot parking lot climbed to 4300, skied a run of north side down to 2600 and climbed back around to 2900 for second run back to the truck.

Observer Comments

Number of isolated thin wind slabs in number of varying aspects but all on steep slopes. Some step south facing slopes had roller balls from the warm sun effect from day before.

Weather

Sunny and clear, starting out cool but warming quickly with sun.

Snow surface

Varying varieties of wind effected snow on all aspects and elevations, but found decent snow to ski. Thin sun crusts forming on exposed areas. Wind also did lots of damage to north facing slopes and ridges on west side of highway but not as much on east side.
