Calm, temps in the low 20s F, partly cloudy

Snow surface

20 cm of soft snow, made for good skiing

Snowpack

Dug a pit at 2220' on a SW aspect. Slope angle 20 degrees. Snow depth 80 cm, buried surface hoar 20 cm down, below that a several melt freeze crusts with facets in between. ECTN17 on the buried surface hoar.
