From Marmot PL at 2695ft toured 1.7mi. up south side of SW frk of Fishhook Ck to 3200ft. No sign of avalanches other than old debris and previously described glide crack on north side of valley.

In ck bottom below Marmot PL, found thin layer of 1mm SH overlying 10cm MF crust. Near surface facets below crust to unknown depth. Boot penetration 40cm. MF crust with underlying NSF persisted to tour high point, varying from breakable crust to supportable hardpack. Made for challenging skiing on the decent.
Did pit at 3058ft. Total snow depth = 113cm. Top down; 113-110, P MF crust, 2-4mm clusters; 110-93, 4F, 1mm NSF; 93-59, 1F, 1mm rounds; 59-0, P MF crust containing some remnant facet? forms.
CT26 at 0cm, Q2. Untracked snow at pit site, but old avalanche debris nearby.
