Route & General Observations

Toured from mine parking lot to check conditions after wind event. Ski conditions are extremely pour, entire pass is wind scoured at upper elevations / Ridges to tundra. The low elevation is extremely wind affected, compact wind slab and variable conditions through out the valley.

Natural Slide occurred just south of our position in the bowl proper between micro / rae Wallace. We conducted an extended column test, found a weak layer approximately 3 inches below a compacted wind crust, which failed within 3 taps. Snow below was stable.

Multiple surfaces had slide within the valley, mostly on western / sw aspects.
