Location: Superbowl Peak
This skier-triggered avalanche happened on Friday 1/29 on a west
aspect around 3700 ft. It measured 10 inches deep, 40-60 feet
wide, and ran 500 ft. Failure most likely occurred on the
old snow/new snow interface (possibly buried surface hoar).
