Route & General Observations

DOT lot to top of Seattle ridge. Had a look into Main Bowl then skied a run on Sunnyside back to highway.

Dug quick pits in Main Bowl and Sunnyside (repeat offender slide path).

Weather

Clear skies, 14 degrees at parking lot. Winds were 10-15 on ridge. Saw larger plumes blowing off the higher peaks.

Snow surface

Shallow. 4-6" of dry storm snow above ~1500'. No surface hoar observed today. High quality turns, just gotta be light on your feet!

Snowpack

Pit #1
2700’ , NW aspect 27deg slope
Height of snow: 12-14”
Height of new (from 11/21): 4-6”

Pit #2
2500’, E aspect, 35 Deg slope
Height of snow 8-10”
Height of new snow (11/21): 4-6”

Cold, dry storm snow over a decomposing crust at the ground. Generally right side up.
