Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

Clear skies, weather moved in after noon.

Snow surface

Lots of different surfaces. Heavy ice crust down low, breakable crust at tree line, wind packed ridge, soft powder under the ridge, wind skin in places. Riding was generally good! Just a lot to pay attention to.

Snowpack

Dug a pit under the ridge on at 3600. ECTP28 at 65cm down. It took a lot to move, but was a pretty clean break of crust on facets. Enough to think twice about line choice today.
