Obscured sky.
Started skinning and there was a fog layer between 2300 and 2600 ish ... It eventually burned off.
The sky was cloudy.
A little S breeze at the ridge.
Left up track for Sunburst ridge, some new snow on top of the old tracks.
Great ski quality in the Alpine!

A stiffer 2" slabby layer below that near the ridge.
Quick pit at 2900' on a NW aspect. Wanted to check what the winds had been doing near the ridge, not so shallow at this spot still.
Off the ski track below the headwall.

ECTN11 on the interface with the old snow. (4F -> 1F)
ECTP23 126 down. At the top of the Thanksgiving crust (?). Unstable result but took a lot of force.
Definitely turning into a big slab.
