Route & General Observations

Toured to Sunburst wx station via the Sunburst/Pastoral saddle. Encountered a large, supportive windslab that spanned the entire saddle, but was confined to there. No windslabs were found on the E facing shots below wx station. Winds were light out of the W/NW.

Sluffs running 200+ feet, both natural and skier triggered.

Sunny. Light winds out of W/NW. -9 at TH. Pleasant in the sun above the inversion. Clouds streaming in from W at 11am.
