Sunburst.
Parking lot still not plowed, barely enough space to jam one vehicle into.

Wind loading in afternoon, westerly and southerly winds.

Weather

Sunny. Cold.
Calm wind in am, moderate southerly winds started at 1:00pm, winds increased around 3pm with notable snow transport on 4,940 peak area/ Silvertip/ Lynx area.

Snow surface

NSF with ~20cm ski pen.
Wind affected near ridgeline from previous southerly winds.

Snowpack

Hasty pit dug above alder line to see if buried Surface Hoar was present.
I found it 15cm down mixed in with 4F soft snow below and Fist hard above. Moderate failure with a shovel tilt test on BSH layer.
