Temps in the teens to mid 20's °F
Cloud cover went from obscured to partly cloudy
Calm winds
No current precip.

Snow surface

8" powder from late 2.25

By mid afternoon we could see some recent surface instability on steep east and southeast aspects. From afar, it looked like it was surface snow (suspect the 8" from 2/25) initiated and sluffing from exposed rock and tree areas.

No notable testpit results from ECT or PST as we tested beyond the January facets.
We were in a slightly wind loaded area and found the January facets (1mm rounding facets) ↓120cm
