By mid afternoon we could see some recent surface instability on steep east and southeast aspects. From afar, it looked like it was surface snow (suspect the 8" from 2/25) initiated and sluffing from exposed rock and tree areas.

Tough to see, but we noticed some surface snow instability in the steeps of east facing Seattle ridge in the afternoon.
Looking toward Seattle ridge from Sunburst as the clouds lifted and the temps increased slightly.
More sluffing on east facing aspects in the afternoon.
