Route & General Observations

Traveled main skin track to access Sunburst. Veered north at 1600ft elevation to access untracked W facing 20 degree slopes near tree line. HS averaged 50cm with new snow totals measuring between 2-3″ (6-8cm). New storm snow was loose and unconsolidated, and it fell on a snowpack made up entirely of weak (fist hard) facet layers. There is still a visual trace of the Nov 16th buried surface hoar down 40cm from the snow surface. Tests had no results, CTN and ECTX.
