Seward Highway: I noticed a few “skid marks” (glide avalanches) where short run avalanches disturbed deep enough into the pack to carry soil and rocks. Many that I saw last week were covered in new snowfall. I could not observe earlier in the trip down due to very low ceilings. I was stopped for 45 minutes at the Cooper Landing debris flow (slide). My highest temperature on my accurate carometer was 44F in Turnagain Arm. Lowest was 38F near Summit. I apologize that there were no pictures. I was in a hurry and it was pouring rain.
