Precipitation continues with rain changing to all snow later in the day. Avalanches were observed today across the area ranging from new glide avalanches/full depth to the ground and wet snow avalanches that appear to be mostly surface layer. (D-2). Precipitation ranged from 0.2″ water at Summit Lake past 24 hours and a total of 4″ water equivalent for the past 7 days with higher amounts towards Seward.
