We saw several D2 avalanches that likely occurred some time between March 17 - 18, Crown faces and debris were covered by new snow.
Mostly clear with a thin high cloud cover at times
Temps were in the mid 30's F - mid 40's F
Calm winds
No Precip
Only a few inches of snow along the roadside which had formed a firm crust
Recent tracks on Tenderfoot showed new snow coverage in the Alpine
Recent ski tracks on Tenderfoot, West aspect.
D1.5 avalanche on a SW aspect between Butch and Hale-Bop, This avalanche likely occurred March 17 or 18th
Upper Summit Lake was still mostly frozen with the exception of where it drains into Lower Summit Lake.
D1.5 avalanche on the Western face of Raven Ridge, likely occurred on March 18th
D2 avalanche on a Southwest sub-ridge of Wilson North. This slide likely occurred on or before March 17th.
D2 avalanche on a West aspect of Lonestar. This avalanche was also observed on March 17. See Murphy's Summit Obs.
