Route & General Observations

Road observation today showed wind swept upper elevations and no new avalanches observed at Summit Lake.

Outside of Summit Lake:
Carter Lake area (Wrong Mt and LV Ray) active wind loading today at upper elevations. SE winds were loading north and west facing slopes. Isolated wind loading was observed Lost Lake area as well. No new avalanches observed at Carter Lake or Lost Lake.

One avalanche observed on Mt Marathon (Seward) above jeep trail out of steep terrain during storm.

Partly cloudy, SE Winds at high elevation. Some wind loading at high elevation ridge tops.
