At upper elevations (Fresno) temperatures were 26-29F with winds NNE 25-35 gust to 48mph. Light rain was falling (0.2" rain water) at valley bottom with snow above 2000' level. Temperatures at Summit Lake ranged from 34-42F.
Today warmer temperatures and light rain over the area obscured upper elevations. No new avalanches in the past 24 hours. Yesterday during afternoon warm up (42F at valley bottom) roller balls and small loose wet sluffs were observed below 2800′ elevation. These sluffs were observed south of Manitoba to Mile 42 Templeton Mountain (Creator) on West and SW aspects. The lower elevations are loosing snow again due to warm up.
