Avalanche Details

Very large avalanche today on Straight Up in the lower Skookum Glacier. There is no evidence that anyone was hit, and both guides and private parties that witnessed the slide didn't see anyone involved. Both CPG and private parties performed thorough beacon searches in the debris and detected no signals. However, the size of the avalanche and where it hit the snow machine tracks is very concerning. If anyone was traveling in the Skookum today and is missing please reach out. We want to be as certain as possible that no one was involved. We'll follow up with a more detailed observation.
