Avalanche started around 3700′ and slide down to around 2300′

Weather

5-6" New snow on Sunday morning. Considerable drifting and wind loading. Avalanche occurred when the sun was hitting the slope in the late afternoon.

Snowpack

Snowpack SWE in the valley was 11.2", or about 125% of normal.
