Route & General Observations

I was part of a 3 person group. Toured up the sunny side of Hatch peak south shoulder and then a ridge walk to the summit. No red flags observed during tour. We skied the southwest face giving the gully that slid a wide birth. We transitioned at the bottom of the valley and observed second skier in another group remote trigger a large slab avalanche that propagated 100 plus feet into and across gully.
