Weather

12:30 pm- cold, clear, no wind, no precip
1:30 pm- cold, clear, light breeze from the North, no precip
2:45 pm- cold, clear, no wind, no precip

Snow surface

The snow surface was variable. In most locations, there was a punchy breakable wind crust. Sastrugi and wind ripples were observed at various times on the skin track. We did observe rimed surface hoar on top of the sastrugi and wind ripples.

Snowpack

Snowpack depth varied from bare ground to over 8 feet deep. We dug one pit along the ridge next to North Bowl.
