Route & General Observations

Left the Reed Lakes trailhead at around 12:30pm under slightly overcast skies. Snow on the trail started after the first plateau on your way up to the pass. Once at the pass, skis were on and I enjoyed a quick coast to the base of the Nunatak, followed by a lap from the top. 1-2″ of fresh snow, covering older tracks, on top of edgeable glacier snow. Visibility was pretty good until my way out when the flat light and snow rolled in.

Feels good to be sliding around on the white stuff again.
