Route & General Observations

Skied south to west aspects in Tincan Common down to through Snakepit area & Valley bottom. The wind was blowing consistently at ridgetops and less so below. Snow was variable. Mix of variable hard & soft wind crusts/slabs from approx 2200’+ on that southwest face. Snow was less disturbed the lower we went. There was about 5-10cm skin pen where snow was soft. Some sun effect on the most direct south faces. I deliberately made hard ski cuts on rollers & convexities, and did not notice any instabilities. Did not notice any incidents from the 10-ish other skiers who traveled that slope. Also noticed a few new tracks & skintrack on the steep Eddies skintrack. From a distance, Eddies appeared less wind effected at mid elevations.
