Quick shakeout tour to start the season. Dug 2 pits for practice, results are below. Snow was slippery on the up and sticky on the down, wax should fix both those problems. No signs of additional recent slides, and most slopes W of Gold Cord Rd. have tracks on them.

Snowpit data: 3300' NE facing slope with a 42 deg slope angle. Snow depth: 70cm. ECTX. PSTX on facets layer. Ice layer 19cm from the ground, facets layer 50cm from the ground. Dug another pit at 3700' E aspect with similar findings.
