Route & General Observations

Natural avalanches in Skookum Valley on all aspects. Deep snow 2-4ft penetration with snowmachine. Also heard one whoopf while digging out sled on a southwest facing slope on Skookum Glacier. Some avalanches were clearly newer, as they crossed over snowmachine tracks. Slight crust and denser snow at low elevations, dissappears over 700 ft.
