Location: Skookum Valley
This natural avalanche probably occured on Sunday or Monday 2/15
or 2/16. We just saw this one today 2/20. It’s at the right
elevation for the rain crust/facet weak layer. Be extra careful
at these lower elevations in Placer and Skookum Valleys.
