Location: Side of Manitoba, trail to Spiritwalker
Skied out from mile 48 trailhead along trail to Manitoba, skirting to ski down
to Juneau Creek. First picture shows result of hasty pit dug near Juneau Creek,
8-12 inches of depth hoar with the top two or three inches saturated from rain
and wet snow.
Folks we encountered stepped down to test slope. You can see the results of it
in second two pictures. We tried a couple different slopes. Very tender day out lots of whoompfing, including
by the third person behind us.
Temps above freezing, rain, snow mixed with rain and some graupel. Windy.
