Route & General Observations

Seward is currently receiving rain hard at times (9 PM). Upper elevations are
receiving 2+ inches of snow an hour looking at multiple snowtel sites.
Currently 10-12″ of new snow on ground heavy and wet changing from rain back to
snow. Big red flag for upper elevations which will be seeing all snow but it
will be heavy wet…be careful in the backcountry it will surely be very
unstable!

Winds at Summit were NE at 20-30mph and gust to 40-60mph.

Have a Merry Christmas!
