Location: Seward Mt. Marathon/Lowell Canyon
The bowl above Lowell Canyon slid on Saturday or early Sunday travelling down
almost into Lowell Canyon. Most of the snow has been blown off east aspect
but loading from snow on the backside of Marathon was still being transported
into the gullies above the Canyon this afternoon. Mountains south of the
Sterling Y are still seeing some loading mainly East and South facing slopes.
