Drove the Seward Highway, Tern Lake to Anchorage yesterday afternoon. Average road level temperature 42F. Sunny. Not much wind. Due to the brilliant day, I was able to study the slopes. Almost no avalanche activity that I could see. From the Hope intersection to Johnson Pass, that steep south aspect had soil and debris marking, but this did not impress me as recent. Note the image with the recent glide avalanche at Turnagain Pass.
