Observation: Summit

No skiing, just from the highway. Many of the usual chutes had avalanche debris, but were difficult to judge the age at a glance. I drove down on Tuesday and the big difference on Thursday afternoon was cornice development. Pix near Tern Lake have blowing snow in an SE ridgetop wind. Many west and south aspects had new cornices as opposed to last Tuesday. Time of trip was 1430 to 1630 AKST.
