Did a lap through the pass down to Johnson to get road observations after the skies cleared off

Observer Comments

Many dry loose point releases off steep slopes along Seattle Ridge, Magnum, Tincan. Human triggered sluffs on Tincan. Small pockets of storm slab had pulled out on Magnum, Tincan (several on Tincan looked to be human triggered).

Weather

Temperature at the road before driving up into the pass was 21F. Temperature at the motorized parking lot was 24F with ~1' of snow in the parking lot. Temperature at the Johnson Pass pullout was 26F and there was ~10" of snow. Light winds at highway level by Johnson pass.

Snow surface

At road level snow had fallen undisturbed by wind. Snowfall totals were thinner as we drove south in the pass.
