Slight temperature inversion today with cold air pooling in valley locations.
Pit results
ECTP 13 x 3, Q1. Fracture character = sudden collapse
Test results today were consistently failing above the December 7/8 drizzle crust. the weak layer
proved to be 1-2mm facets directly above the crust.
Of note:
The December 7/8 drizzle crust appears to be degrading significantly in my snowpit. What was a
supportable pencil to knife hard crust a week ago was only 1 finger hardness today in a very similar
location on Seattle ridge.
