Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

Moderate rainfall along the road at 1,000' on Turnagain Pass. Winds were light from the North on the road but plumes could be seen off the peak and ridges (Easterly winds). Temperature at 1,000' was 40F.... ugh!

Snow surface

Wet and saturated snow at 1,000'. There is still plenty of snow however to 'weather the storm' of warm rain.
