Weather

15F, moderate winds out of the north 10-15MPH, No significant precip

Snow surface

Soft wind crust at pit location, also observed powder and hard/stiff wind crust of depths varying from fractions of an inch to several inches. Wind slabs were found to be poorly bonded but not sensitive to propagation.

Snowpack

Pit test at 2,200' on Seattle ridge facing North West with an inclination of 25deg in an area leeward from the last storm event. ECTP24 Q2. Failed weak layer was 18" from snow surface.
