Observation: Turnagain

Location: Seattle Ridge / Little Sweden

Route & General Observations

Common moto uptrack to Seattle Ridge. Rode along the ridge to the weather station. Dropped into Little Sweden and spent the majority of the day in that area. Exited via 2nd Bowl to Main Bowl. Stuck to lower angle terrain as much as possible. New Years (I think) avalanche crowns & debris in most bowls.

Observer Comments

Persistent slab……no signs until it goes.
Did several aggressive side hills / cross cuts on a SE aspect test slope at ~2500ft and ~30deg. Nothing broke. Maybe it wasn’t steep enough.
