Rode up to clear off the Seattle Ridge weather station. The station was very rimed over and the anemometer (wind sensor) was broken, so no wind data till we get another installed. Great soft snow and no signs of instability except for cornice falls.

Wind effect and rime crusted areas along Seattle Ridge proper.
No formal stability tests. One pit that showed a 4' right-side up snowpack on top of a crust/facet combo, no signs of reaction in shovel shear tests on the facet/crust combination.
Cornice falls in Warmup Bowl (-1 Bowl) today. Look to have triggered only small pockets of wind slab.
Impromptu pit in Main Bowl (1st Bowl) after getting stuck - no shears or layers of concern in the top 6 feet of the snowpack.

Glide crack in Warmup (-1 Bowl) on the North facing slope. This is a common crack that forms and has been known to release.
Turnagain is open for business - it's good to see some soft snow and relatively stable conditions!
