Moto lot to ridge via common up track. Rode ridge South to Triangle bowl, then North to top of Main Bowl. Did not drop into Main Bowl. Visibility deteriorating in the PM. Snowing on ridge 1cm/ hr at 4PM. Rain/ snow line ~1700′. Light drizzle below 1700′ to parking lot.

Pocket slab appears to have pulled out lookers Left of large avalanche that ran yesterday on front side of Seattle Ridge. See photo.

30F on ridge @ 2400'. Snowing 1cm/ hr at 4pm. Winds light from SE.
Stout to breakable crust as you ascend from 1K to 1700'. Soft, wind-packed snow above ~1700'.
Snowpit #1: Triangle Bowl (ele: 3,160'). S aspect. HS= 290cm (wind loaded)
CT11, ECTP12,19 sudden planar on 2-3mm buried surface hoar 90cm down. BSH was only obvious layer in top 100cm of this snowpit.
Snowpit #2: Above Main bowl (aka Hoar Farm). (ele: 2460') NE aspect. HS = 105cm
CT13, ECT18 sudden planar on 2-3mm buried surface hoar 55cm down. ECTX
An assortment of crust/ facet combos in lower half of this snowpit. Also of note, found a second layer of BSH 25cm down. Was unreactive. See annotated photo for snowpit #2.
