This is a non professional, non technical, general observation. Just want to help anyone out who might be thinking of going riding in Turnagain pass. I am not familiar with the names of specific areas yet, but did ride mostly around the main trail that goes up the mountain. The snow approaching above tree level to 3/4 up was adequate for riding as it started to soften up compared to the hard crusty snow at parking lot level. Although, the snow at the elevations mentioned in the safe ridable areas was getting to be mostly tracked up.

There are large cracks about 3/4 of the way up the face of many areas. A recent large avalanche occurred from one of the cracks near the parking lot. I would say stay far away from any large cracks even though the snow did seem to be fairly stable when I was there.
Sunny, clear, no wind. Very nice day. However, getting a little warm for snowmachines at parking lot level. My truck said it was 39 degrees F in the sun at the parking lot at around 3 pm.
At parking lot elevation the snow was hard, crusty, bumpy, and made cooling on your machine an issue unless you have scratchers down. As you go up in elevation above tree level the snow gets better but is still crusty and icy.
The snow pack depth is good, but nothing great.
