Observation: Other Regions

This wet slab avalanche failed at 2:00pm on 4/12 due to solar
heating of the snow on this SE facing slope. It started off as a
point release near some exposed earth, quickly gaining more snow
as it got wider. It also broke out a few deeper pockets of snow
as it fell toward the valley bottom.
