We saw three new glide avalanches that occurred in the past 24 hours. All were on the road-side of Seattle Ridge. One of these slid while we were on the backside of Seattle Ridge.
The only red flag seen was the glide avalanche activity on the front, road-side of the ridge.
Sunny! Light southerly breeze on ridge.
Temps near 30F on ridge and 40F in parking lot.
Solar aspects were soft fun pseudo corn, about 3" deep of soft melted snow.
Shaded aspects were a variety of soft dry snow with some old wind effect.
We did not dig any pits this afternoon, instead we focused on the amount of warming on sunny slopes. We were surprised to see only the top 3" or so has melted despite such a warm day. We saw no evidence of wet loose avalanches and could not trigger any ourselves.
