Route & General Observations

Common motorized up-track, hung out on the ridge for awhile, followed similar route down. Was watchful for signs of depth hoar, only had one instance of whumphing on the way down. No recent slides observed.

One instance of whumping on the way down, occurred during skier leapfrog. No cracking observed afterwards.

Weather

Mid 20s at the parking lot, high to mid teens on the ridge top. Temperature started dropping off quick around 2:00. Intermittent valley fog/cloud cycles all day. Sunny up top.

Snow surface

Widespread surface hoar growth starting around treeline and up. 1-3 inches dry fresh on top a mild crust. Great snow for mid-November!

Snowpack

Variable 1-3 feet. Minimal rocks encountered, pretty good coverage!
