No red flags were seen today or avalanches triggered today from groups in the area. That said, we did not travel into areas that had high traffic and man old tracks. Many riders were sticking to low consequence terrain.

Weather
Sunny skies until around 1pm then high clouds began to filter in.
Temperatures were warm, upper 20'sF.
Winds were calm.
Snow surface
2-4" of light snow on the surface that was non wind affected. Wind effect is just below the 2-4" of light snow.
Snowpack
We dug one pit at 2,300' on a SE aspect just to the north of the up-track and Repeat Offender slide path. Snow depth was 5 feet. It was very difficult to find an area that did not have old snowed over snowmachine tracks in it. We did not get propagating failures in the pit. This area had seen prior wind scouring/effect.
Two ECT tests: ECTN 28 and 29 down 12" on a hardness change
The snowpack structure in general is quite poor with faceted snow 16" to 2' below the surface.
